The Chapel at Dapto is designed to create a comfortable and light atmosphere. The area is large enough to hold groups of up to 160 people, while curtains can be drawn to create a smaller, more intimate space. The foyer area allows for additional standing room if required and TV monitors allow visibility for all attending.
Your Local Chapel
Featuring prominently on the corner of the Princes Highway and Unara Road, the H.Parsons Dapto chapel has been your local funeral home since 2004. Our Dapto chapel is well situated to support families from the local Dapto, Horsley, Albion Park, Kanahooka, Kembla Grange, and Unanderra areas, and we are proud to continue to serve the local community.
Our chapel is staffed Monday to Friday with a Justice of the Peace who can assist you with any related services, though we do ask that you phone ahead to check if a funeral service is being held. Our staff can also assist you with any pre-planning of a funeral service.
Seating for 160
The chapel can comfortably seat approximately 160 people, with extra standing space in the foyer, catering area, and outside of the main entrance. Each location area of the funeral home is prepared with an audio-visual system, apart from outside of the main entrance which can be equipped on request, that allows attendees to view and hear the full service.
The Dapto chapel is the largest in the H.Parsons group. For smaller services, the main chapel curtains can be drawn to create an intimate atmosphere for the funeral service. Regardless of the size of the service, the H.Parsons Dapto chapel can accommodate.

Meet Our Team
Parking
Free on-site parking is available for families. Seven parking spaces in front of the chapel are reserved for the family of the deceased or for those with a disability. Additional parking is available via Osborne Street and the car park can accommodate approximately 20 cars. For larger services, street parking may be available on Osborne Street, and the chapel can be accessed via the Osborne Street car park.
Public transport is available close to our Dapto chapel, with Dapto train station a short 10-minute walk away, and bus stops on the Princes Highway provide a short walk of only a couple minutes to the chapel.
H.Parsons Dapto Location
Located in the heart of Dapto, on the Princes Highway, the chapel is easily accessible for local funeral services. Large signage is visible from the main road, and the chapel itself sits on the corner of a major intersection (the Princes Highway and Unara Road). The chapel is well situated for residents of the Horsley and Wongawilli regions, as well as Kanahooka and Koonawarra.
Only a short five-minute drive, the chapel is also well situated for Kembla Grange funerals, and those of suburbs such as Albion Park, Unanderra, and Berkeley.
As the chapel entrances are located on Unara Road and Osborne Street, visitors can enter and leave the site from roads less busy than the Princes Highway.
Accessibility
Our Dapto Chapel is located on the ground floor. It is easily accessible for the infirm, or those in wheelchairs. For additional assistance, please contact our team. Entry to the chapel is via a wide double door, which can be fully opened to assist those in mobility scooters. There are no steps or ramps to navigate in our funeral home.
Our restroom is also wheelchair accessible and can be accessed by the infirm.
The chapel is equipped with speakers and TV’s so that those in various parts of the chapel (both inside and outside), will see and hear the full service.
Catering
All funeral services held at our Dapto chapel can be fully catered by Apple Tree Catering. As a licensed venue, our Dapto chapel is able to accommodate food and drink packages from Apple Tree Catering which include alcohol. For the terms and conditions of our licensing, please contact our team.
Apple Tree Catering is headed by local chef duo Nicole and Lee, who incorporate pure ingredients and passion into their catering.
