Casual After Hours Mortuary Transfer Assistant

As a casual After Hours Mortuary Assistant you will be responsible for:

​

• Respectfully transferring deceased people into our care 

• Liaising with key stakeholders as required (nursing homes, hospitals and police)  

• Liaising with families 

 

Essential criteria - please ensure you meet these criteria prior to submitting an application:

• Full unrestricted drivers license 

• Willingness to work after hours and on weekends as required.  (After hours shift penalties apply) 

• Good physical fitness as the work can be physical including assisting with coffin bearing, conducting transfers, gardening and maintenance duties 

• Good communication skills 

 

Desirable criteria 

• Proficiency in computer and admin skills  

 

Full training and company uniform will be provided to the right candidate. After hours shift penalties apply.
